Additional Services at the Practice
Patients aged 16-74 who have not been seen within the last 3 years, have the right to request a consultation. Patients over the age of 75 who have not been seen in the last 12 months, also have the right to request a consultation or visit if housebound.
A Telephone Messaging Service is available if you are concerned about something, or have a query but don’t think it’s medically urgent to see a Dr that day. The receptionist will ask you to leave a message for either the Dr of your choice (if he or she is available), or the duty Doctor, so that they can call you back and discuss the problem with you.
We also have the services of a Counsellor and a Dietician at the Practice (referral is via the Doctor).
If you have to attend Hospital and for medical reasons you require an ambulance, you can book transport via the Hospital Transport Service on freephone 0800 32 82 332. As soon as you receive your appointment details, please contact them. They are open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6.30pm.
